About JX Venue
Built in 1905, the Connolly Shoe Factory was renovated in 2016 to become JX Venue, one of the largest event venues in Minnesota. JX Venue boasts 14,000 sq. feet of event space and has a capacity of up to 720 guests. The venue is perfect for large weddings, small celebrations and everything in between. Purposely ambiguous, the name “JX” is defined by the first class events that are hosted within the exposed brick walls. Clients have access to an unparalleled multimedia experience, optical illusion photo booth and a state of the art sound and light system. The space is dynamic, bursting with modern luxuries, while still celebrating the historic charm of the building. Every celebration feels intimate as the space is customized to match the exact vision and needs of the client.

- 2016 VIRTUAL TOUR -
“We recently got engaged on Easter Sunday in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Knowing that venues fill up quickly, we began doing our research right away! Due to social distancing guidelines, we were not able to visit any of the venues we liked. The JX Event Venue stood out because they had a video on their website that gave us the ability to tour the space virtually. This video was so detailed and did such a great job of showing us the look and layout of the venue! Ultimately, it was what made us confident that we wanted to get married there! We chose to book the venue without seeing it in person!
