Built in 1905 and opened as an event venue in 2016, JX boasts one of the largest event spaces in the state, capable of hosting 720 guests. We have been voted The Best Venue in the East Metro as well as one of the top 25 Most Stunning Venues in Minnesota! Located in beautiful and historic downtown Stillwater, JX combines modern design with its historic roots by showcasing exposed brick and 14,000 square feet of original hardwood floors to beautifully capture a timeless elegance.

​Built in 1905, the Connolly Shoe Factory was renovated in 2016 to become JX Venue, one of the largest event venues in Minnesota.   JX Venue boasts 14,000 sq. feet of event space and has a capacity of up to 720 guests. The venue is perfect for large weddings, small celebrations and everything in between.   Purposely ambiguous, the name “JX” is defined by the first class events that are hosted within the exposed brick walls. Clients have access to an unparalleled multimedia experience, optical illusion photo booth and a state of the art sound and light system. The space is dynamic, bursting with modern luxuries, while still celebrating the historic charm of the building.  Every celebration feels intimate as the space is customized to match the exact vision and needs of the client.

RATES

Weekday rates start at $300/ hour *Prior to 5pm
Weekend rates start at $4900 *Off-Season Sundays
Rates are subject to increase for holidays.
​Non-profit rates are available.
An additional 20% in service, labor and damage waiver will be added to the base room rental pricing.
​Credit card payments are subject to a 3% convenience fee. 
Rental times include set-up and tear-down. Rental rates are for a full 12 hour rental, inclusive of both VIP getting ready rooms. All rentals include a building host, security and insurance. Standard access is 12pm-12am or 1pm-1am. Event tear-down must conclude no later than venue rental end time.
A Day Of Coordinator is required on-site for all events, JX Venue can provide one for your event, or you can provide your own. * JX Venue Day Of Coordinating Pricing is listed under our Planning Services page found here.

VIP EXPERIENCE

With the VIP package we got our engagement photos and wedding day photos included. Judd and his team were awesome to work with and we are still in awe of how amazing our photos turned out. Judd was able to capture all the moments on our big day perfectly. We are still in awe at how much fun Judd, Emily and their team were to work with. They made our wedding day so much more perfect than anything we could’ve ever dreamed of.
