​Built in 1895 and opened as an event venue in 2014, Loft 214 is an intimate, rustic space overlooking beautiful and historic downtown Stillwater. The Loft combines modern design with it’s historic roots by showcasing exposed brick and 4,000 square feet of original hardwood floors giving off the perfect balance of cozy & chic.

ABOUT LOFT 214 VENUE ON MAIN

Experience Loft 214,  an original space with warm, rustic-chic charm. Built in 1895, this building was renovated in 2013 to become The Loft at Studio J, one of the most unique, rustic and charming venues in Minnesota. Loft 214 boasts 4,000 sq feet of event space and has a capacity to hold up to 200 guests (150 seated). The venue is perfect for weddings and intimate functions.
Loft 214 is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. Prior to the renovation in 2013 the historic building was used as housing accommodations for lumberjacks in the logging industry. Historical relics from the early 1900s are present in the space today, making the venue a conversational piece among guests. The building is bursting with character and history yet it still represents the current amenities of the present. Clients have complete control over every detail of their event at Loft 214.  The venue is versatile and functional with multiple spaces available including two VIP rooms.  Every celebration feels intimate as the space is customized to match the exact vision and needs of the client.

One of our most often asked questions is what our room flips look like. In this time lapse you can see exactly that. The total time elapsed for this flip was less than 30 minutes.
Rates are subject to increase for holidays. Non-profit rates available.
An additional 20% in service, labor and damage waiver will be added to the base room rental pricing.

​​Credit card payments are subject to a 3% convenience fee.

Rental times include set-up and tear-down. Rental rates are for a full 12 hour rental, inclusive of both VIP getting ready spaces. All rentals include a building host, security and insurance. Standard access is 12pm-12am or 1pm-1am. Event tear-down must conclude no later than venue rental end time.
