Judd Sather Photography is the signature brand of Studio J, Inc.  Judd, a former high school math teacher and coach, has been shooting weddings and portraits since 2000.  His studio in downtown Stillwater has been renovated to become The Loft at Studio J, a "Top 10 Unique Event Spaces in Minnesota." In 2016, JX Event Venue was created just two blocks away from Studio J to cater to weddings and events for up to 720 guests.
Judd and business partner, Josh, continue to shoot about 25 weddings and 150 portrait sessions per year.  Studio J continues to expand from weddings and portraits to commercial, school, and dance studio photography.  Click on the portfolio links below for more information, and we will see you at the studio!

​Studio J Videography
Award-winning coverage and editing that can be coupled with Judd Sather Photography and Studio J Photography. Full cinematic video of your day begins at $3500 for one camera and $5000 for two camera all-day coverage. Our videographers work side by side our photographers to cover the most important and precious moments that happen throughout your day. 

All video collections include a five to fifteen minute highlights video and full ceremony video delivered digitally or on the medium of your choice. Common upgrades include additional time, love story video or audio recording (a wonderful addition to ceremony or before first dances), and drone coverage.
