We laugh in the face of winter! Stillwater Winterfest will cure your winter blues. Say goodbye to winter hibernation and hello to Stillwater’s very own Winterfest. This cheeky hometown celebration gives a solid nod to the nearly 40-year-old University of Okoboji Winter Games tradition. Who needs beach muscles when you can pile on the layers and flex your winter drinking muscles in our parka pub-crawl? Not your thing? Try our fast, but not so furious frozen 5K and .5k. Maybe the temperatures seem too scary, we’ve got you covered - warm up at JX Event Venue! At JX you can enjoy family-friendly indoor games and all types of entertainment including the second annual Stillwater's Got Talent competition!
In the spirit of winter games, each day will have opportunities for participants to earn special "campus" gear with the mascot, the Fighting Storks! Participants will be awarded the title of "The Golden Stork," sponsored by “The University of Stillwater”. These special gems are only given to the heartiest of competitors. By hearty, we mean, you have a heartbeat and you can keep up and participate in all the competition.
