URBAN ADVENTURE RACE

- PLACE -
Racers will check-in at Lily Lake , right next to registration for The Lily Lake Looper!
- OVERVIEW -
Step 1: Receive a map containing 5-10 classified locations throughout Historic Downtown Stillwater 30 minutes before the race starts.
Step 2: Review the map and come up with a plan of attack.
Step 3: Go!
Objective: Reach all points on the map and stamp your map with the location-specific punches marked by flags at each waypoint and return to the starting line. The first person or team back with all the locations logged is the official winner. Everybody else still wins by having the opportunity to explore the city and have some fun.
- RULES -
1. Locations can be reached in any order, by any route, and by using any human-powered method of transportation.
2. Teams must stay within 50 yards of each other at all times and all must be present in order to punch a location.
- OTHER INFORMATION -
-This race is FREE in its inaugural year and is a part of the Stillwater Winterfest.
- Race distance depends on your route and the location of the markers, but all locations will be within a ~1 mile circle around the starting line. You can do some bad math to estimate, but maybe plan on 3-5 miles.
-There are no prizes, t-shirts, or any other material incentives; however, you will receive a punch on your Stillwater Winterfest card for participating to be entered in the grand prize drawing at the end of the festival. This race is about showing winter who's boss, bragging rights, and adding a great experience to your life resume.
-Expect uneven terrain, ice, and cold. Plan and prepare accordingly.
