End time? -The latest "last song" is 12am -Please check with the couple about their exact contracted end time -With a 1pm-1am rental, all equipment MUST be loaded out prior to 1am.
Sound System -The Loft and JX do have in-house sound systems for ceremony music, cocktail hour music and dinner music (played through Spotify) -The Loft and JX do have in-house microphones for ceremony and toasts -The Loft and JX are NOT equipped for a band or DJ to plug into our sound system. A band and DJ must bring their own sound system for reception music. What's provided? -We provide DJs with a 6' banquet table + black/white/ivory linen from the caterer. -We provide DJs with a rolling cart for load in.
Storage -JX: Please ask a staff member for equipment storage. The "Electrical Room" in the reception space is most ideal. -Loft: Please ask a staff member for equipment storage. "Room 9" is most ideal.
Special Instructions: -Although our staff is around to guide the flow of the evening and ask venue questions, please note that the DJ/Band will have the responsibility of announcing dinner, grand entrance, first dances, etc. -Catering staff will dismiss tables. -Please refer to "Floorplans" on Loft and JX venue pages for DJ/band placement.

Rules! -We do have ladders for any installations, however florist must be licensed and insured to be on a ladder. -Please use existing beams, posts and fish eye hooks in ceiling, along with wire, to hang installations. -Please do NOT use command strips on the walls, use nails in walls, or hang anything from chandeliers. -Installations must be approved by Loft/JX team prior. -No open flames. Flames must be contained in votive, hurricane, etc. -Please put a tarp down or tidy up after yourself :) -Please have a plan for who is taking what floral and where leftovers are going!

Our Staff! -Loft/JX team will be at the venue prior to the couple's contracted time to ensure room is set correctly and suites are prepped. -Loft/JX team will guide vendors to their correct place, answer A/V, timeline and venue logistic questions. -Loft/JX team will assist in all A/V (microphones, sound system, lighting, etc) -Loft/JX team will assist in getting guests seated for ceremony. -Loft/JX team will do room flip from ceremony to reception. -Loft/JX team will clear glassware and trash during cocktail hour and reception. -Loft/JX team will assist in getting guests seated for dinner. -Loft/JX team will assist in A/V during dinner. -Loft/JX team will assist in lighting transitioning from reception to dance. -Loft/JX team introduces DOC to security upon their departure after the first dance. -Security will be on-site through end of evening and can answer venue, A/V and load out questions.
Our Staff Will Not... -Loft/JX team does not load in or set decor, unless otherwise contracted. -Loft/JX team does not line up wedding party and cue ceremony, unless otherwise contracted. -Loft/JX team does not set centerpieces during room flip, unless otherwise contracted. -Loft/JX team does not move gifts or cards, or pack up end of evening.
